Proof- that’s right, firm, undeniable, mathematical proof- to support my contention that combining DC and Maryland in order to eliminate the problem of DC suffrage would be grotesquely unfair due to significantly large political differences between the two which which tend to be overlooked by supporters of such a measure.

Carol sends me what may well be my favorite press release ever released by a state governor. Maryland’s Governor Martin O’Malley and Lt. Governor Anthony Brown proudly announced the 2008 “Maryland Capital for A Day” Program, in which eight cities around the state will serve as the state’s capital for a day.
