No, Really, Some Of My Best Friends Are Jewish

No one should be surprised to see the least competent White House in American history send the wrong holiday cards to a group of religious leaders. Hey, at least they didn’t kill anyone in Holidaycardgate!¹ In any case, isn’t this addendum to the CNN story a bit odd?

[Laura Bush's press secretary Sally] McDonough added that the White House had received “dozens” of calls of support from members of the Jewish community to express their appreciation for what President and Mrs. Bush had done for them through the course of Mr. Bush’s presidency.
