The Atlanta Journal-Constitution Shatters All Of My Previously Held Beliefs About Women

Disturbing news:

The United States won’t be electing a Madame President this year. But if there’s one thing this campaign season has made especially vivid, it’s this:

American women don’t speak with a single political voice, not even to each other.

Suddenly, any monolithic notion of the “woman voter” has been cracked wide open.

All my life, I thought every “woman voter” was simultaneously asking one question and one question only: “For which candidate would I most like to spend the next four years baking pies?” Dammit. No wonder I keep losing my campaigns for office.
