If This Was A Bad Month, John McCain Is Going To Hate To See A Good Month

So, in a month when most of his preexisting small donors were thought to be taking a break and the media was widely predicting a severe fundraising shortfall, Barack Obama raised $52 million, only $3 million shy of the all-time record for a single month he set in February at the height of the battle against HRC. Does anyone still think he should have locked himself into the public financing system?
By the way, the average contribution of $68 per donor looks pretty good, as well. Large numbers of organized people really can fight toe-to-toe with the super-wealthy. That’s just one of the things this campaign will prove.
