I could have sworn I just skimmed over a headline about Major League Baseball meeting to discuss the safety of bats.

Yup, there it is:

MLB | League officials to meet regarding safety of bats

You know what? I don’t even want to find out the details of the apparent bat controversy. The hilarity of the headline is too fantastic to risk ruining it by discovering that there is actually some legitimate issue regarding certain bats currently in use.

UPDATE: Sweet Jebus, that last sentence is poorly constructed. The hell was I doing?
