Snow Cones For All

Posted on May 30, 2008 by andrew

I’ve always complained that you can’t find decent snow cones in DC. In the Baltimore area, they’re everywhere in the summer (and called by their proper name, snowballs), but like a good crab cake or a decent bagel, they simply don’t exist thirty miles South.

Now Carol sends me the link to a Columbia Heights blog reporting that a snow cone vendor has set up shop right outside the entrance to the Metro station. Awesome! I’ll stop by today if the weather is nice on my way home from work and check out his flavor selection.
