I Better Get A Fucking Refund

Don’t ask about the concert. Just don’t ask.

I will never go to Nissan Pavillion again. Ever. Not even if Radiohead were playing there again in a massive festival featuring a rejuvenated and reunited Talking Heads, a similarly rejuvenated R.E.M., Elvis Costello (who needs no rejuvenation), David Bowie (I’m not so sure about him), a reunited Sleater-Kinney, plus Liz Phair, Sarah McLachlan, Jenny Lewis, The Decemberists, the Arctic Monkeys, They Might Be Giants, and any other current band you could name for whom I would generally be willing to pay $25 at the 9:30. Even if the tickets were free, it wouldn’t be worth the effort to drive to this concert if it were at the hell on earth known as Nissan Pavillion.

Maybe if George Harrison and John Lennon rose from the grave and all four Beatles reunited for a one-time-only performance at this same festival, then I would consider going back to Nissan Pavillion. Maybe.

Seriously, don’t ask.
