Last In War, Last In Peace, First In The National League

Posted on March 31, 2008 by andrew

Man, it’s been almost three years since the glory days of ‘05 when I was busting that one out regularly*. But, guess what: Everyone in the NL East has the result of at least one game in, and the Nats are in first place! Sure, they’ve only got a .5 game lead over the 1-0 Mets, but they’re up a massive 1.5 on the Phillys and Marlins and could be up 2 on Atlanta if the Braves lose to Pittsburgh tonight. C’mon, Stan, let me buy my playoff tickets, already!

(Good thing there aren’t 160 games left to play or anything.)

*And, in related news, WHY ARE WE STILL FIGHTING THIS DAMNED WAR?!?
